Patricia’s journey in the world of dance began with learning to skate on the Charles River in Cambridge, MA. After completing her education at Boston College, she ventured into the teaching field, sharing her knowledge as a high school English instructor in California, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Patricia’s love for dance led her to her first U.S. Nationals in 2000, which marked the beginning of her journey attending events across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

A native of Chicago, Courtney Dority joined the El Danseu Festival team in 2010 with a mission to ensure that Canadian dance enthusiasts receive comprehensive coverage. She spearheads the development and management of our dance-focused content, empowering dance lovers with insights and information.
